HAND-IN Hardcopy of your Orthodoxy Essay is due on Monday.
ESSAY DUE: Friday the electronic version of draft Final Reflective Essay will be due. We will be discussing the Final Reflective Essay in class. The Final Reflective Essay guidance is on the WEB site with a link to examples and instructions at the top of the page so visit it and read it. You are not limited to the material you can use in your reflection. It can be things you did in PDP, your Service Learning, your campus activities, what you learned in all your other classes. The important property is that it be reflective and exhibit the properties of good reflection. You are not finished. You have hardly begun. The journey begins anew each day. It is an adventure as Chesterton well knew and an everlasting story. The scope of the Final Reflective essays is 1750 to 2500 words.

Class 1 Monday November

11.1 There are two topics for week 11: Topic 1 is Preparation for the Great Debate which will take place on Monday November 19th. You should plan to stand out in your assigned role in dimensions of Affirmative/Negative Presenter, Questioner, Judge, Evaluator. Topic 2 is the content and development of your Final Reflective Essay. We will explore the dimensions of the essay and what separates a good essay from a poor essay.

11.3 Rehearsal as a concept. How to present yourself in debate and perform in the roles assigned. A little dry run of what is expected.
11.3.1 Don’t forget to turn in your electronic copy your draft Final Reflective Essay. Also don’t forget that you should have hardcopy to turn in on Monday.
