PDP 150 F06 Section 23
Plan of Week
Week 8
General ASSIGNMENT for Week: Read the Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis and reflect in your reflective journal. Try to read the entire book at a sitting making brief notes about the temptations Wormwood is giving the "patient" and Screwtape's advice. Imagine yourself in the role of the patient. Then when you have read the whole book, your essay assignment is to write a letter to Wormwood who has discovered a new patient — "You!" and wants advice from Screwtape about how to tempt the new patient. In the persona of Screwtape, write Wormwood a letter giving him specific directions that will exploit the weaknesses of the patient and bring him over to "Our Father Below."
