ASSIGNMENT: Reflect in your journals on the proposition: I am the hero of my own journey. I am in command of who I shall become. My actions now will determine what I do and how I live my life in years to come. And reflect on the question: How ought I to shape my personal journey to become the hero I was meant to be?

NEXT WEEK: Begin reading The Screwtape Letters. Next week we will begin discussing the book. The book is quite short so you should be able to read it in about two to three hours at the most. You should read it and take notes, especially on the character of temptation and the devices Lewis uses to characterize Wormwood, Screwtape and the Enemy.
