1. Team Building — First we’ll partition the Lincoln Project into Key Teams

2. Today’s Assignment

BUILD A PROTOTYPE INDEX PAGE for the Lincoln Project

Features:

i. It must have a suitable banner that is elegant

ii. It must have a central section that presents the Mission Statement of the Lincoln Society of Virginia and a photo of the Lincoln Cemetery — the central photo may change dynamically using JavaScript but the changes should be slow and not interfere with the elegance of the page (could present different images each time the site is hit)

iii. Links — links must be present on the page and should be dynamic using either JavaScript or CSS features. The dynamic character should be subdued and not too flashy in keeping with the theme.

iv. Sign your page in a small font on the bottom of the page with a copyright notice

DUE DATE — Wednesday next week. I’ll put all the pages up off the Lincoln Project page on my website and hardcopy of the pages will go to President Stone
