About Me

From 2001 to retirement, this garden, excluding the pond you see, was my creation and was also a lot of work.  It is always fun to see the wonderful results of hard work. That tall window in the top left gave a nice view from my former office. This picture was taken in late May.  Click here to view the details of my 40 years of teaching and research activity.  I have taught my share of zoology courses in addition to botany.  I did not include the list of courses I taught during the interterm.  Still, over 40 years I have taught about 10 different subjects, published 30 papers, was awarded eight research grants, and was in touch with approximately 10,000 students.  I am very blessed to have had the chance to live out my dream, and for that I am very thankful.
