The pictures you see above are of plants that I worked with over my years as a botanist. I determined and published the chromosome numbers of 119 species of plants mainly from Virginia, but also from Bermuda and the New England Area. I was funded by eight research grants over 35 years, one of which put the Greenhouse on campus. The botanical tour is my tribute to the College, as well as to all - students, faculty and staff, who are a part of this community. |
