Welcome to the home of The Collaborative Learning Club of Bridgewater
College!
The BC CLC is operating in conjunction with the Math/Science
F.I.G. and the Bridging the Valley program. Dr. Overway, of the
Chemistry Department, is the BC faculty advisor to these
programs. Ms. Jen Sowers, of the Bridging the Valley
program, will also be actively involved in planning and
coordinating events that involve the CLC. If you have any
questions about these programs, please contact one of us.
Members Benefits

through your first year at BC
access to help sessions in the BIO, CHEM, and MATH
(prizes will be given out for winning performances)
access to MCK 345 for after-hours studying
monthly meetings of the club which will focus on success
at BC and career exploration
a stipend for your participation in the club events
Members Responsibilities
you are required to attend all of the help sessions for
the courses you are attending (BIO 207/208, CHEM 161, MATH
110/120)
you are required to meet with your mentor on a weekly
basis
keep MCK 345 clean and tidy after evening study sessions
strongly consider filling out infrequent surveys from the Bridging the Valley
grant team to assist them with improving the program
Students who attended the Summer Bridge Program are eligible for
an $800 stipend ($600 in the fall, $200 in the spring).
Students who are invited to join the CLC in the fall semester
are eligible for a $400 stipend ($300 in the fall, $100 in the
spring).
